2009-05. Arno's Vale and Whitchurch - 29 August 2009

We meandered along two urban rivers, burying ourselves in the history of a Victorian graveyard, trying out stretches of four different off road cycle paths and learning a bit about the waterways built a hundred years ago.

Guided by Veronica we spent the day meandering along two urban rivers, burying ourselves in the history of a Victorian graveyard, trying out stretches of four different off road cycle paths and learning a bit about the waterways built a hundred years ago.  Local artist Bill Guilding told us about the history behind his iconic railway mural.

The lunch stop was at Beese's on the banks of the River Avon.
